In a nutshell it the Chaos version of the Vanilla Marines demi-Battle Company but better in many ways in my opinion. Death Guard and Alpha Legion, the thing these two have in common is they are both going to use the Chaos Warband Formation as the Core of their respective detachments.

I havenвЂ™t played CSMs since the heyday of the 1 trick pony double Lash Sorcerers plus Obliterators. My last foray into Chaos was with my 6th edition Nurgle Daemon flying circus. I am definitely more of a Loyalist at heart. Those of you who know me are probably surprised to see me writing an article about CSMs. In game terms this is represented by the Chaos Warband Formation. When they go to war the Chaos Space Marines do so not as вЂњChaptersвЂќ or вЂњCompaniesвЂќ organized in a rigid manner of a false prophet like Roboute Guilliman, instead they go to war in Warbands organized under a powerful Lord of Chaos who marshals the forces he needs for the task at hand. Having seen the power of Chaos and the lies of the cadaverous false god of the corrupt Imperium of Man the legions of Chaos wage war across the galaxy in the name of the true gods of the warp. Space Marines of the traitor legions and those fallen to Chaos since the time of the Heresy are referred to as Chaos Space Marines by the followers of the false Emperor. To use the voice pack, unzip the archive and place both SpaceMarinesMkIIVoicepack.rcst_vpk and SpaceMarinesMkII folder into your Recursion Stat Tracker install directory.

Space Marines Mk.II is a custom voice pack largely inspired by RihnoSRB's Space Marine Voicepack that uses voice lines by 8 characters from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 1 & 2.

Update 3/10/15: Created Achievement Background PNG - if you downloaded the pack before this date, you can either download the updated version (same link) or just the new background image. Thanks to RihnoSRB for the original Space Marine Voicepack and inspiration, and thanks to TeaCeremony for extracting all 700 or so Space Marine audio lines from Dawn of War 2. If you find one particular line getting on your nerves, I tried to include enough dynamic sound options for you to take one off the list and still have some variation. If you have any feedback regarding the voice pack, feel free to post it here. To use the voice pack, simply download it and save it in your RTST installation directory, then select -> and choose, then click and find the file named SpaceMarinesMkIIforRTST10.rtst_vpk and you should be all set. The Space Marines Mk.II Voicepack has returned for the release of RTST v.10 with a staggering 130 new lines and full support for dynamic sounds to keep those common achievements from getting stale! With roughly 230 total voice selections from the Space Marines of Dawn of War 1 & 2, this voice pack should keep you entertained for hours! (Unless you're a filthy heretic)ДЄgain, if you want to preview some of the lines in text before downloading, this spreadsheet should serve as a rough guide.
